At last!

At last, we have our English language blog. In Radio Kampus Ourense (RKO), we hope that you will enjoy our radio and our programmes.

More of them will be in Spanish language. Another times, we will 'speak' in an Universal Language, that is called Music.

If you are a student that come from another country, and you are in the Ourense Campus of the University of Vigo, with an Erasmus or another kind of scholarship or grant, and you want to have your own programme, you can e-mail us to: programs.rko@gmail.com, and ask us for a programme.

In the other hand, if you want to listen the RKO, you have to do the following:

Under Windows:

With Winamp:
1. Open Winamp.
2. Select Winamp.
3. In the keyboard press the key labeled "Ctrl", and the key labeled with the letter "L".
4. A dialogue with a text field should appear. There, you must type one of the listening addresses.
i.e.:

http://rko.uvigo.es:8009/

5. Then, press Enter.
6. At this moment, Winamp must connect with one of the streaming servers of Radio Kampus Ourense (RKO). It must to delay a little, while it connects with the servers and load the buffer.

Under Linux:

With xmms:

* Proceed in the same way like with Winamp in Windows.

With beep-media-player:
* Procced in the same way like with Xmms or Winamp (Windows), except :

- In step number 3, you must to press, simoultaneously, the key labeled "Ctrl" and the key labeled "H"

-Eventually, after step number 5, you must to press, with the mouse pointer, the "Play" button.
